2019 Scottish Golf Update
Happy New year to everyone! 2019 is set to be a huge year for Scottish golf and Scottish golf courses. With a few huge events set to be staged in the home of golf, and a number of courses in fantastic condition, it is a great time to visit the best golfing destination in the world.
2019 Solheim Cup
The 2019 Solheim Cup match between team Europe and the USA will be staged at the world's leading golf resort 'Gleneagles'. It will be played in mid September on the PGA course which, in 2014, hosted one of the best Ryder Cups in recent years as Europe beat the USA.
Gleneagles is a fabulous golf resort which oozes luxury in everything it offers. With 3 world class golf courses it is a highly recommended visit for any golfing fanatic on a Scottish golf tour.

It also offers a selection of other activities to suit all of the family.
2019 Scottish Open
The 2019 Scottish open will be held at the modern Championship Renaissance golf course in East Lothian (The golf coast). It is the first major event to be hosted at this fabulous Links since its opening in 2008. 2019 will also be the first year that the Renaissance course will allow visitors to play it themselves (without having to pay a substantial membership fee), and we (at Scotia Golfing) are recommending it to our clients visiting on a 2019 Scottish golf tour.
The 2019 Scottish Ladies Open will also be held here, which again will help boost its credentials. It is a fabulous modern championship Links course, which has been delicately carved into the natural surroundings of these world class stretch of coastline.
2019 Scottish Amateur Championship
This historic event will be staged at an appropriately historic venue, at Crail golfing society. This historic Links course (the Balcomie) is a must play on any Scotland golf trip and we already have a number of clients booked in to play here this year. The Craighead course (also at Crail) is also a fabulous course, with a more modern feel.
